Number 1....The Collective Boutique

The Collective Boutique
Indulging in both well established designers and fresh new talent The Collective Boutique brings you a handpicked collection of fashion led must haves, which consists of affordable, high quality, luxury jewellery and accessories. Founder and Director Hanna from childhood observed her mother and grandmother's love for antiques, Art Deco buckles and jewellery contributing to her love and appreciation for all things sparkly. After taking evening classes at Central Saint Martin's, The Collective Boutique launched in 2013 and I can't think of anywhere better to find those investment pieces which will take you from season-to season effortlessly and you will treasure forever!

At The Collective Boutique you are definitely not short of a statement piece or two and if you want a bit of sparkle this is the place to go. Every item is everlasting and you can shop from classics if you don't want to go too OTT to the most amazing graphic, beaded and feather embellished pieces around there's something for everyone. I love the play on textures and shapes and this is what really grabs me, I knew 2013 was the year I fell in love but maybe in more ways than I expected!

Number 2....Bijoux Bazaar

Bijoux Bazaar
Fashion graduate Lucy Smith set up Bijoux Bazaar to stay connected to the fashion industry and as a self confessed magpie needed a way to channel her urge to buy every gorgeous piece  of jewellery in sight. With a placement at online favourite ASOS upon graduation and experience at the coolest fashion Magazines Grazia and Company, there's no doubt you will always be at the top of the trend when Shopping at Bijoux Bazaar.
I personally love the fact that Lucy has created an online, shoppable space where fashion mad girls can shop trend led pieces and competitive high street prices. I'm swooning over the bright statement colours and the glitz of every single piece embellished with beautiful jewels its like dressing yourself in a sweet shop. Just one piece from the collection will add that instant cool and brighten your day. I've been told Bijoux Bazaar will be expanding into other accessory areas in time for Christmas, so you can pick up that perfect pressie or glam up your party outfits at a click of a button!!!
In the words of Lucy 'Watch this space...' and no doubt girls everywhere will be watching very close!

Number 3....Isles Jewelry

Isles Jewelry

Surrounded by the stunning colours of crystals and the fascination how nature could create such a beautiful thing Isles Jewelry founder Nabila Lionarons grew up in a house surrounded by her mums precious gems. When visiting family on the island of Curacao Nabila decided to take the plunge to open her online Etsy shop to feed her love and obsession of jewels she had since she was a little girl. Dressing up in her mums jewellery from such a young age and being surrounded by such naturally beautiful crystals Nabila was destined to make jewellery and every piece you receive you know is truly made with love!
What catches me is that every piece is unique and maybe not something that jumps out to you straight away but once it draws your eye it sucks you in to fascination where you explore the pieces and frankly I couldn't quite believe how natural selection could produce such a wonderful thing. Keeping it simple is an easy thing to do here but it's all about the layering to get that statement effect and personalise your look mixing and matching your favourite pieces to put your stamp on any outfit.
Here are my top pieces online now at :

I'm forever battling between simplicity and statement and I think it's so important to get the perfect balance. Without one or the other you can go from drab to drag in 30 seconds.

For me it's all about picking up simple staple items locally on the high street and sourcing the most amazing unique and bespoke accessories in markets and online. If we all went to our favourite high street store and picked out our same cut patterned dress as everyone else in the city we'd all be clones, purely judged by our words and not the personality and creativity we can portray through imagery.

Discovering new online boutiques and designers who sell beautiful statement pieces really is a celebration for me! When you find that perfect piece you know you'll wear time and time again you can vamp up a plain tee and jeans for a day to dinner look or adding it to that floor sweeping dress to give you that va va voom and make you the empress you was destined to be.

So don't clone yourself accessorise accessorise accessorise...and try out my amazing TOP 3 favourite online jewellery designers and boutiques of the moment!!!

Work it like a boss...

Today I'm loving the masculine trend!

Now I'm not a tomboy and on many occasions you need to drag me away from a good floral print, but right now I am loving how the masculine trend is done. It's turning us women into sexy, powerful and strong figures, making the men bow down to us and lets face it who doesn't love to get exactly what they want?

And so you might be thinking it's all baggy jeans and boring office suits but no its oh so feminine with sharp cut out tailoring, shift styles to show off those pins and a very playful twist on fabrics (tweed isn't just for your grandad you know!). If its too much, why not mix it up by pairing tailored pieces with a flirty little dress and adding some bright jewels, remember one thing, don't get matchy matchy it's all about the mix.

So here's my masculine outfit of the day to get you on the road to success....

Oh and ALWAYS  add heels!

Much love...
